Taarak Mehta Ooltah Chashmah fame Gurucharan Singh shared a heartbreaking video from his hospital bed. In the clip, he stated that his health deteriorated recently, without revealing the cause of his hospitalisation. “Haalat bahot zyada kharab ho gayi hai," he said, leaving fans worried about his health. Gurucharan portrayed the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular show.
A day after the auspicious occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, Gurucharan wished his followers and shared an update on his ailing health. In the video, he was heard informing his fans about his deteriorating health. He also assured fans that he was on the path to recovery. "On the occasion of Gurpurab, Guru Sahib Ji blessed me with a new life. Infinite and unlimited thanks to Guru Sahib Ji. I also express heartfelt gratitude and respect to all of you, because of Guru Sahib Ji's grace, I am alive and standing before you today. Thank you to everyone. Rab Rakha and may Waheguru continue to shower His blessings," the actor captioned his post in Punjabi.
While the reason for his hospitalization remains undisclosed, the actor's fans spammed the comment section with prayers and well-wishes for his swift recovery. “Praying for yr happy health... sodhi sir…,” wrote a user. “Sodhi sahib kya hogya aapko,” asked a fan. Another fan reacted, “Get well soon paaji..we miss you in tmkoc.” Watch the video here:
In recent months, Gurucharan Singh has faced numerous challenges beyond his health struggles. Last April, his family reported him missing after he failed to board a flight from Delhi to Mumbai, prompting his father to file a missing person's complaint and kidnapping case. Nearly a month later, Gurucharan returned home, revealing that he had embarked on a spiritual journey to cope with personal struggles. The actor revealed that the failed business ventures, financial woes, and a property dispute had taken a toll on his mental health.
