The successful landing of the Vikram rover as part of the Chandrayaan-3 moon mission was hailed not just by India, but in the entire world. However, a viral video has now claimed that the Chandrayaan-3 rover has achieved another historic feat – found proof of aliens.
A video is being circulated on social media that claims that the Pragyan rover, deployed by the Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander, shared footage of aliens on the lunar surface. The viral video sent shockwaves in the entire community with the claims of alien life on the moon.
According to the claims of the video, the Pragyan rover caught footage of alien life on the Moon and sent the footage back to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). After examining the footage, ISRO chief S Somnath called an important review meeting.
However, here is the complete truth about the viral Chandrayaan-3 video shared on social media.
Fact Check: Did Chandrayaan-3 find proof of aliens on Moon?
According to the viral video, the ISRO chief made an official announcement that Chandrayaan-3 found 700 aliens on the moon. This claim is completely false as the social media handles and official website of ISRO have made no such statements yet.
ISRO has been issuing timely updates on the experiments and tests being carried out by the Pragyan rover on the lunar surface, and there has been no mention of detecting any alien life on the lunar surface by the Indian space agency yet.
Further, the footage used in the video going viral on social media is a combination of past ISRO and Chandrayaan footage, as well as stock images and videos, revealing that there is no truth in the claim of finding aliens on the surface of the moon.
Till now, no country in the world has made the claim that there is alien life present on the Moon or any other planet of the solar system, and researchers are still conducting experiments to decide the authenticity of claims that aliens exist.
